Guild Hall in collaboration with Roosevelt Institute will conduct the second Hamptons Institute on Saturday October 30. Topic and Panelists to be announced soon, along with time!
Guild Hall debuted the first Hamptons Institute on Friday, July 16 – Sunday, July 18, 2010. The weekend long symposium featured distinguished panelists and speakers from across the arts, the economy and the media including George Soros, Elizabeth Warren, Van Jones, Bernard Schwartz, Margo Lion, Damian Woetzel, Ken Auletta, Robert Johnson, Michael Greenberger, Jeff Zucker, Eric Fischl, Joan A. Marter, Joe Nocera, Jeff Madrick, Lisa Dennison, Jerry Saltz, and Craig Newmark discussing critical issues that will determine the path ahead as we recover from a devastating financial crisis and move toward an economic and cultural recalibration not seen in a generation. Panel topics included “Restoring the Integrity of the U.S. Financial Markets,” “Building the Infrastructure for a New Economy,” “Investing in Arts and Culture,” and “The Future of News and Media.”

EDUCATION
Family Programs and Public Programs are sponsored in part by grants from the Town of East Hampton, The New York State Council on the Arts and the Evan Frankel Foundation.
All students must be pre-registered and all classes are to be paid in full before the beginning of class. There is no partial or pro-rated payment for attending part of a course and there is no refund for sessions missed. Unfortunatly, we cannot take registration over the phone; registration must be made using the registration form or by visiting Guild Hall. Guild Hall reserves the right to limit enrollment in any course (with full refund) in case of insufficient enrollment.
No refunds will be made after registration. Materials lists will be sent to adult students upon reciept of registration. School and group tours of the museum are available upon request.
