Presented by the Guild Hall Teen Arts Council & the East Hampton Ladies’ Village Improvement Society
Sustainability meets style in this bold celebration of creativity and conscious design. GHTAC X LVIS: Teen Fashion Show showcases original ensembles crafted entirely from repurposed and upcycled materials, transforming second-hand clothing and fashion waste into visionary, wearable art.
A true community collaboration, this fashion show is the result of months of creative work between the Guild Hall Teen Arts Council and the dedicated volunteers of the Ladies’ Village Improvement Society (LVIS). Together, they sourced clothing from the LVIS thrift shop, carefully selecting garments with the potential for reinvention. Guided by a shared theme, the teens took on the role of designers—de-seaming, reconstructing, and reimagining fabrics to create entirely new looks that challenge the boundaries of fashion.
A reception will follow to celebrate the culmination of the 2024-2025 Guild Hall Teen Arts Council!
